Where would you invest your money if you could no longer buy in the East Bay?

Money TrainWhere should you invest your money if you can no longer buy in the East bay but you still want to own a real estate property?

The vast majority of the people in the Bay Area cannot afford the median priced home anymore. If you don’t want to live too far from work and renting is cheaper where you live, then buy an income producing property in a city where you can afford a duplex, triplex, or fourplex. Get a partner, create a investment LLC and share the risk. Pay it off in 15 years and enjoy your retirement. You should also remember that very soon the distances in California are going to shrink with the launch of the high speed train. So buy close to the train line and watch your investment grow over the next 10 years.
